The legendary City Rockas was originally formed back in 1983. The DJ’s were Donovan and his brother Tee, and their cousin Loui P and with their younger brothers Joey Jay & Double Jay later also started DJing as young City Rockas.

Though their love of music the crew started buying vinyl from an early age and by their 20’s they DJ’d alongside others at many clubs in and around Bristol like the Tropic Club, Mozart’s, Vadims, Mayfair, Western Star Domino , as well as the many underground house parties in St. Paul’s.

The crew would also host radio programmes on Emergency Radio & Black FM, as well staging a legendary show @ Trinity Centre in 2012 with the late Joyce Sims.
