One of the UK’s renowned DJ’s Martin Bitd Rafferty  is a prominent R&B DJ in the South West, spinning tunes during the 1990s. He’s held residencies at some of the region’s most iconic events, including Soul In Motion, Soul Togetherness, Bring The Noise, Risque, The Flow, Soul Sensation, Garage Nation, Twice As Nice, and Soulution.

By 2010, disillusioned with the modern R&B scene, Martin teamed with Dj John Mustoe to reignite the magic of the 90s R&B era. Together, they launched BackInTheDay, a celebration of Old Skool R&B & Soul. Over the next decade, the event has grow into the South West’s largest bi-monthly gathering for fans of classic R&B and soul, reviving the vibes of a golden age in music.

In addition to their success with BackInTheDay!, Martin’s enduring passion for #80s #soul, #raregroove, and #90s #rnb has made him him sought-after DJs on the national circuit. Martin has performed at some of the UK’s premier Old Skool and weekender events, including the Southport Weekender, Butlins Soul Weekender, Soul Village, Trevor Nelson’s Soul Nation, Ghetto Heaven Weekender, Liquid Spirit, Rhythm Assembly, Soul Society, Code of the Streets, MATURE, Flava of the 90s, Bump N Hustle, and Old Skool Lovers, among others.
